Independent Healthcare Initiatives (IHI) is an
independent Michigan company founded in 2001 which has focused on working with
large self-insured employers to reduce the cost of healthcare benefit programs.
IHI’s premier software product, InitiaBase, was developed to identify
healthcare cost reduction opportunities for large self-insured employers.
IHI’s software has been successfully utilized by some of
the largest corporations and universities in the US, including General Motors.
IHI has continued to enhance it's premier software and has developed
several new products to reduce healthcare costs
and improve quality. One new product - our
Health Plan Provider Information Portal
resolves
the biggest identified need of employers - increasing information about which
providers are best, and providing both actionable and credible data for both members
and Health Plans.
